Moon Signs

The new moon is always a time of new beginnings. So, start something whether you pursue a dream goal, an idea, plan or project. The moon increases in light between the new and full moon, so at the new moon put energy into something you want to grow or become stronger or more important in your life. The power of the new moon phase is in effect until the full moon.

The full moon is an emotional high tide time when you get to assess and see where you are emotionally.  In the days following the full moon but before the next new moon, get a plan together to maximize what’s great or to make changes that will make you feel more comfortable.

Each new moon follows the order below. A new moon in Aries is followed the next month by a new moon in Taurus. Occasionally there are two new moons in the same sign.  Incorporate the information below with other astrological information you know. For example, combining the sign of the moon with the house in your own personal birth chart gives you additional valuable information.

Although the following describes how to use the new moons, you can also apply this information if you know your own moon sign in your birth chart. The difference is, instead of using the sign's themes for the month, you will use the sign's themes for your whole life.

In general, when the new moon is in
fire signs - seek activity
earth signs - do something practical that provides more material security
air signs - be communicative and social
water signs - tune into your feelings

Aries:
